Hello, my  name is Tice Jenkins and I am student attending high school at Lincoln Luther High School. I am just finishing my 10th grade year. I am a very interesting writer I would say in the way I develop my stories and how I think to lure the reader to continue reading my piece. I enjoy writing pieces when I am able to pick the topic that I want to write about. This is common for a lot of people because who wants to write something that they aren’t passionate about? I feel like a writer will make their best piece of writing if they are passionate with what they are willing to write. This is a huge deal for me when I write pieces. That’s why in some of the essays I have written aren’t the best essays because the teacher chose the major topic as I had some ability to choose the sub-topic.

The overall focus of this Portfolio is to pick some of my best pieces in separate categories to show off what I have done this year. It is kind of a show and tell to show you my strengths and weaknesses throughout my whole Sophomore year. In my English writing, I average in between an A and an A- per semester. I excel most definitely in freestyle writing rather then formal writing such as essays. Throughout the year I have a few pieces that I really enjoyed and I believe you as a reader would also enjoy.
